Pre-ordering items is a straightforward process that allows you to reserve products before they become available for general sale. Here's a simple step-by-step guide on how this works:

Browse Products: navigate to the product you want to pre-order. There will be a "Pre-Order" window on your personal page in Boardgame Space’s Shop tab.

Add numbers: if you decide to pre-order an item, click the number tab corresponding and add the amount requested.

Timeframe: once a pre-order product is released, the window of time provided for pre-orders will be about 1 week to 10 days. You can adjust the numbers freely within that timeframe, but once the window of time has passed, your pre-order numbers will be locked in and can no longer be changed. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more information on changing your pre-order after the timeframe has elapsed.

Agree to Terms and Conditions: it is then required for you to read and agree to the terms and conditions, return policies, or pre-order agreements set by Boardgame Space.

Submit Order: after re-confirming the correct numbers, click the "Submit" button to confirm your pre-order.

Status: once you have your pre-orders set the status will be:

• Open: the pre-order window is still ‘open’ and you may change your numbers at any time.

• Submitted: the deadline for pre-ordering has passed and your numbers cannot be changed.

• Processed: the pre-ordered items are on the way to our warehouse.

• Fulfilled: the pre-ordered items have arrived and are now booked in your next order.

Viewing Your Pre-Orders: you may view and review your Pre-Ordered products in your Account tab > Pre-Orders

Waiting for Release: you will need to wait until the product is released. The website and our regular retailer emails will usually provide updates.

Receive the Product: once the product is released and available in our system, it will automatically be placed in a reserved order for you, awaiting the usual procedure or restocks with your Account Representative.

Please Keep in mind that pre-ordering comes with certain risks, such as unexpected delays or changes in the product's price. Please make sure to read our Terms and Conditions regarding pre-orders before you go ahead.

Back ordering items is a straightforward process that allows you to reserve out of stock products when replenished by Boardgame Space. Here's a simple step-by-step guide on how this works:

Browse Products: navigate to the product with the available Back Order tab. These are specific items that are back orderable when out of stock on the website.

Add Numbers: if you decide to back order an item, click the number tab corresponding and add the amount requested.

Agree to Terms and Conditions: it is then required for you to read and agree to the terms and conditions, return policies, or back order agreements set by Boardgame Space.

Submit Order: after re-confirming the correct numbers, click the "Submit" button to confirm your back order.

Status: once you have your back orders set the status will be:

• Submitted: your back order has been received in our system and will be procured when available.

• Processed: your back order has been procured and is on the way to BGS’ warehouse

• Fulfilled: the back ordered items have arrived and are now booked in your next order.

Viewing Your Back Orders: you may view and review your Back Ordered products in your Account tab > Back Orders

Receive the Product: once the product is restocked and available in our system, it will automatically be placed in a reserved order for you, awaiting the usual procedure or restocks with your Account Representative.
